Alex Kent

Managing Director, Group

Alex joined Aspermont in 2007 and worked across all divisions of the company to become the driving force for Aspermont's transition from print media to digital distribution. Alex leads the executive team, collaborating closely with key executives to set Aspermont's business strategy. Alex previously worked at Microsoft, graduating through their EMEA Academy. Alex graduated with a double honours' B.Sc. degree in Economics, Accounting and Business Law from the University of Bristol.

Alex lives in Singapore with his wife and three children and is an active supporter of Rett Syndrome Research Trust, whose goal is to cure a rare neurological disorder that his eldest daughter has.

Ajit Patel

Chief Operating Officer

Ajit joined Aspermont in 2013, after 25 years media industry experience in media, events, and market research. Ajit is responsible for the implementation of Aspermont's digital strategy and oversight of technology, data, content, events, sales, and subscription functions.

Ajit previously worked at Incisive Media in London, where he was responsible globally for infrastructure, software development, online strategy, vendor management and large-scale systems implementation. Prior to that Ajit was Chief Technical Officer for VNU (now Nielsen).

Nishil Khimasia

Chief Financial Officer

Nishil joined Aspermont in 2016 and oversees all financial functions of the business. He previously held leadership positions with Equifax, building its European presence both organically and inorganically. Nishil is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountancy England & Wales, received his BCom from University of Birmingham and has a Marketing Diploma from Kellogg School of Management.

Nishil lives in London with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, Nishil loves to travel, and actively supports charitable foundations to support children in poverty-stricken regions. He was previously governor of a local school that provides additional support for children with special needs.

Joshua Robertson

Chief Marketing Officer

Josh joined Aspermont in 2023 after 15 years of media tech experience. Josh oversees all marketing, brand, creative and communications and is responsible for building Aspermont's brands and engaging key audiences around the world.

Josh previously worked at some of the largest independent and global network agencies, and held senior leadership positions with Havas, Publicis, and Dentsu. Most recently, he was the Chief Marketing Officer at VCCP.

Josh lives in Singapore with his wife and daughter and is an avid sports fan having run the marathon three times to raise money for various charities.

Ana Gyorkos

Group Content Director

Ana joined Aspermont in 2022 after 15 years of B2B experience. Ana manages Aspermont's editorial and intelligence team.

Ana has evolved from `journalist to holding key editorial roles. A decade-long stint at business information company Global Data saw her managing a team of journalists across six B2B sectors while collaborating closely with the global analyst team to develop their ability to write informative data-driven comments.

Ana is committed to delivering high quality content through a pragmatic use of data-driven insights to inform decisions and enhance profitability. She specialises in refining newsroom efficiency and focuses on delivering impactful content that resonates with audiences.

Currently based in London with her young family, Ana shares the many activities London has to offer. Ana was born and grew up in Slovenia, and her family benefits from growing up in two cultures.

Lindsay Santos

Group Head of Events

Lindsay joined Aspermont in 2023 after 14 years building an impressive career in the events sector. Lindsay manages the Aspermont Events portfolio and has a mission to develop market leading events across the resource sectors.

Lindsay previously managed trade shows for InfoComm Asia across a diverse group of industries, working across commercial, operations and production functions. With her proven record, Lindsay has demonstrated leadership in fostering new partnerships and spearheading innovative initiatives throughout her career.

This wealth of experience positions Lindsay as a valuable leader in driving Aspermont's strategic vision to develop the leading global events business for the resource sectors.

Roger Cooke

Group Sales Director

Roger joined Aspermont in 2016 after 15 years of media sales experience. Roger oversees our commercial operations at Aspermont, including our fast-growing global subscriptions team with critical hubs in London, Perth, Manila, and Belo Horizonte. Roger's role also covers our media services division, who are responsible for generating advertising and sponsorship revenue across our portfolio of publications and events. He also oversees Aspermont's delegate sales operations to support our Global Events Portfolio.

Roger has many years' experience of building and managing sales teams in B2B media. His work has always been globally focused across multiple locations spanning Europe, the US, Asia, and Australia. He spent 10 years at Euromoney, overseeing the commercial operations of a wide range of events and data subscription products and previously spent 5 years with Metal Bulletin/Fastmarkets, where he managed the global subscriptions sales team.

Sophie Mickel

Group Financial Controller

Sophie joined Aspermont in 2023 with over 25 years' experience primarily in service-related industries including Education & Training. Sophie is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts for Australia and New Zealand.

Drawing on her experience in growing companies in the SME space, Sophie is comfortable supporting both the strategic decision-making process and its practical application to the day to day running of the business.

Sophie has a passion for organisational culture, is curious about data and views the finance team as the storytellers of the business.
